As attorneys, we are bound by the duty of confidentiality to our clients, so you can rest assured that we share your information with no one. While many of our clients are extremely well known celebrities, we treat the personal information of each of our clients with the utmost care, and each of our staff members is required to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment.
We use a combination of technology and good sense to safeguard your information. We have invested tens of thousands of dollars to ensure that all of the information you submit on our eminutes.com web site is secure and confidential. We use industry-recognized security safeguards such as firewalls and tightly restricted server and database access to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration. Our web site uses the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect all information transmitted to and from your browser. Your information is stored on a secure server, password-protected and can only be accessed by our staff.
We also use low tech devices, such as the "sharpie" to give the ultimate protection, blacking out key information such as social security numbers from the PDF images of documents stored on our website. We also do not store credit card numbers in a database that is anywhere near the internet. Once a credit card number is entered on our website, it is deleted from our online database and stored offline. Rather than allow staff members to access client credit card information, we use our own credit card to make online payments to the various state agencies. Thereafter, a limited few of our staff have access to client credit cards to reimburse the firm for filings. To further ensure the security of credit card information, we have selected Intuit's Merchant Services as our credit card merchant. Our process implements the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) requirements to protect all credit card information.
We are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy for our clients. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.
